Hello! Alex Greyhead here. Greyhead Pizza was a little side-hustle I embarked on to provide an occasional food service at the Farmer's Boy pub I was working at in 2024; this endeavour then grew a small pair of its own legs and I ended up baking quite a lot of pizzas at quite a lot of events and venues for quite a lot of lovely people throughout 2024 and into 2025.
Sadly, it turns out it takes an inordinate amount of time to plan and prepare a pizza popup - sourcing all the fresh ingredients and making fresh dough, staying on top of admin, and that's before you even turn up to the event itself - not to mention all the cleaning and washing up the next day. Who knew?! So, sadly, I've taken the decision to close the popup so I can focus on my Day Job (and catching up on sleep ;-).
Thank you so much to everyone who supported the business - whether by buying a pizza, providing valuable and kind feedback, or simply by listening to me going on and on and on and on and... about the latest pizza-related thing I'd learnt about that day.
